Mesto is my latest ballet piano piece. The meter is 4/4 and the tempo is moderate. The mood of the piece is calm and contemplative, pretty much from start to finish. At just under two minutes in length, it might be a suitable piece for ballet student choreography, perhaps a pas de deux.
