Being and Nothingness

Choreographer/Principal Dancer Guillaume Côté discusses the creation of this ballet for Principal Dancer Greta Hodgkinson, with reference to the philosophical influence of Jean-Paul Sartre’s famous book of the same name. Rehearsal footage includes discussion of set designer Michael Levine’s role as well as commentary from costume designer Krista Dowson. Music by Philip Glass. Ballet runs May 30th to June 6th, 2015.
